Lengthy sheets, with Torah innovations by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Kanievsky of Steipla, on the matter of Asham Taluy.
On the stencil of innovations by Maran the Gaon of Steipla in his Sefer Kehilos Yaakov, on Sugya Degidulin, Sugya Dekibush Olei Mitzrayim for Ma’asser and Shevi’is and Sugya Dekibush Yachid, on the back of the leaves, Maran the Gaon the Steipler wrote a lengthy, edited Sugya on Asham Taluy, with many corrections of errors and erasures of what was written.
He filed the three leaves of the Sugya with a piece of paper of a certain list and with a paper clip. the Sugya was printed, with minor variations, in his Sefer Kehilos Yaakov volume 18, on tractates Kreitot, Tmurah and Me’ilah. Siman 11.
The great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Kanievsky, the Kehilos Yaakov [1899-1985] Gedol Hador. Was born to a family of Horonsteipel Chassidim and was named after the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel of Tsherkas. Studied at the Novhardok yeshiva and married the sister of the Chazon Ish. For many years was the right hand man of his great brother-in-law. After the passing of the Chazon Ish, he was gradually acknowledged as the leader of the Lithuanian Bnei Torah and as one of the greatest leaders and Tzaddikim of the generation. His succeeding son is the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky Shalita.
