Sefer Rav Pninim Nofes Tzufim VeMe’iras Enayim authored by the Gaon Rav Rabbi Meir Te’omim the father of Maran the Pri Megadim, referring to Marana the Ba’al Shem Tov in his lifetime. Bound with the Seforim of the Pri Megadim Teivas Gomeh and Shoshanas HaAmakim. Frankfurt an der Oder [1782]. First edition.
On leaf 29, in Parshas Noah, in the praise of Eretz Yisroel, he refers to a letter he had seen which was written by the holy Rav Rabbi Gershon of Kitov to his brother-in-law Maran the holy Besht: ‘I have seen a letter from the Holy Land that was written by the Chassid Rabbi Gershon to his famed brother-in-law Ba’al Shem Tov Rabbi Yisroel…".
This is the first Sefer, or one of the first, referring to Maran the holy Ba’al Shem Tov in his lifetime.
This holy copy is signed by the famed holy Gaon Rabbi Binyomin Wolf Low Av Beis Din of Werboi and Toplochani, author of Sha’arei Torah [1777-1851], one of the Geonim of HUngary and the son of Rabbu Elazar the author of Ma’asseh Roke’ach. Received enthusiastic approbations by the great rabbis Rabbi Akiva Eiger, the Chasam Sofer, the Maharam Benet and the Baruch Ta’am. Many great rabbis were his disciples including the Machaneh Chaim and the Kol Aryeh.
The signature of the Sha’arei Torah appears on the title page and on the last leaf.
The Sefer Nofes tzufim VeMe’iras Enayim called Rav Pninim contains Aggadic and Mussar Divrei Torah.
To it is attached the Sefer Teivas Gmeh on the Shas and the Talmud and to them is attached the Sefer Shoshanas HaAmakim on Klalei HaShas also by the Pri Megadim.
Published by the Rav Rabbi Shmuel Te’omim of Prague, the Pri Megadim’s son.

Professional restoration to some of the first and last leaves. The rest of the leaves are well-preserved. Fine new greenish binding. Very good condition.
