Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef – which was printed in Mezhibuzh in 1817 – second edition with the approbation by the holy Rav the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow. Written on the title page: printed in 1780.
Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef, the first Chassidic Sefer that was printed, authored by the disciple of Maran the Besht, one of the foundations on which the entire Chassidic community is based.
A copy of the special edition that was printed in Mezhibuzh in 1817, after the approbation by the holy Rav the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow was received; yet, on the title page it was written that it was printed in 1780 – the year the first edition was printed in Koretz. However, scholars already noted that this error was corrected in other copies. Stefansky Chassidus 606.
