Orante letter for the New Year, with illustrations of the sacred places in the Holy land and on it a lengthy letter handwritten by the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Deutsch of Safed, the son the Nefesh David. 1901.


Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Deutsch – the son of the holy Rav Rabbi David Nosson Deutsch author of the Nefesh David and the famed Rav of Kretshnif, immigrated to Safed with his mother, his father’s widow, and there married the granddaughter of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Heller. His father was the son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Stria.
