Two important letters about inheritance of sacred artifacts from the Rabbi of Bukowsko, son-in-law of the holy Kedushas Yom Tov of Siget. Handwritten by the Gabai the holy Rav Rabbi Alter Reuven of Bukovsk.

These silver artifacts from the estate of the Holy Admor the Tzaddik Maran David the Av beis Din of Bukovsk, and that artifact … was donated to be given to one of the prayer houses of the Holy Land, and after we heard about the foundation of the Beis Midrash of the Holy Gaon the renowned Tzaddik the Av Beis Din of Satmar Shalita, the brother-in-law of the above holy Admor the Tzaddik Gaon …  the heirs decided to give it to his aforementioned Beis Midrash’.  

Two letters dealing with the inheritance of holy silver artifacts from the holy Rabbi David of Bukovsk, grandson of the holy Bnei Yisaschar of Dynów, and son-in-law of the KedushasYom Tov of Siget. Rabbi David requested to give them to a Beis Knesset in Israel, and after the founding of the Beis Midrash ‘Ohel Rachel’ by the Rabbi of Satmar they was sent there. In the second letter is a request to return the artifacts.

The letters were written, in the name of his son the holy Rav Rabbi Alter Reuven Shapiro of Bukovsk, by the devoted Gabai Rabbi Yehuda Segal.

The Holy Rabbi David Shapiro of Bukovsk, son of the holy Rabbi Meir Yehuda, founder of the Bukovsk dynasty, son of the Tzemach David of Dynów and grandson of the holy Bnei Yisaschar of Dynów . In his first marriage he married the daughter of the holy Rabbi Yehoshua of Dzików, and in his second marriage he was the son-in-law of the holy Kedushas Yom Tov of Siget.
