Letter handwritten entirely by the holy Gaon Rabbi Raphael Blum Av Beis Din of kashoy, sent to the Chassid Rabbi Yosef Ashkenazi, the confidante of Maran the holy Gaon of Satmar and it he recounts his visit to Maran of Satmar. Hanukkah, 1963.
In the letter that was sent toe Chassid Rabbi Ephraim Yosef Ashkenazi, the Rav of Kashoy informs about the delivery of funds ‘a debt’ to the important Rav Rabbi Yosel Ashkenazi and also recounts that ‘I have been this week with Maran the holy Gaon Shalita’.
The letter indicates that the holy Gaon of Kashoy visited the rabbi of Satmar on Hanukkah.
The holy Gaon Rabbi Raphael Blum Av Beis Din of Kashoy [1911-2005] a disciple of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach. Was the father of Agunos, making efforts, by his clear Psikah, to enable hundreds of Agunos to remarry after the Holocaust. Founded in the USA the impressive Kiryas Kashoy, with his leading yeshiva at its center. Was one of the important rabbis of America and was also renowned as a Tzaddik and wonder worker.
