Rare! Letter with many blessings for a good and sweet year handwritten entirely by Maran the holy Admor of Skvira Shalita, sent to Maran the holy Rav of Makhnivka. 1981.

16 lines, handwritten entirely by Maran the Admor of Skvira Shalita and with his pure signature, blessings to his close relative the renowned Tzaddik Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschil of Makhnivka in Bnei Berak.

The letter begins ‘May He shower from above an abundance of well-being and flourishing life on the famed Tzaddik Rav…

At the beginning of the letter, the Rav of Skvira asks about the Rav of Makhnivka and his health, thanking him for the good tidings from the USA. ‘Our eyes hope and expect good tidings from Hashem for good health and strength and constant pleasure and joy‘.

The Rav of Skvira, most uncommonly, recalls what is happening in the Shikun Skvira and in his family, and specifically refers to the upcoming wedding of his son Rabbi Yitzchak: ‘… we have begun preparing, BeEzras Hashem, for the wedding of my son Yitzchak will which take place BeEzras Hashem in Eretz Yisroel on the sixth of Kislev … may we merit meeting out of joy and Nachas‘.

The Rav adds many of his holy blessings for the New Year, blessings for good health, Nachas, an abundance of material and spiritual blessings and ‘May Hashem listen to all or prayers and they be accepted for a year of redemption and salvation…’

The close relationship between the renowned Tzaddik the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschil of Makhnivka and his relative the holy Maran the Admor of Skvira, one of the greatest Tzaddikim of our generation and the leader of the Jewry of the USA, was well-known. However, this unique letter reveals the intensity of their relationship and the concern of the Rav of Skvira for the old Rav of Makhnivka.
