Handwritten dedication by the Knesses Mordechai on his father’s Sefer! Sefer Kedushas Aharon by the holy Rav Rabbi Aharon, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Sadigura, first edition. Warsaw, 1913. 


On the title page, a lengthy dedication of several lines ‘presented as a gift to the famed Gaon Rav … Rabbi Ovadya Hadaya Shalita the Rav of the Sephardic community … Petach Tikvah. In the month of Teves … by me Doresh Shlomo VeShlom Torato and expecting the mercy of Heaven, Mordechai Sholom Yosef ben Rabbi Aharon Friedman of Sadigura‘. 

The printed approbation by the author’s son the Knesses Mordechai is stamped with his personal stamp. 

Maran the Holy Rav Rabbi Mordechao Sholom Yosef of Sadigura author of the Knesses Mordechai [1896-1979], one of the greatest Admorim of his generation and one of the most important leaders in recent generations. The son of the Holy Rav the Kedushas Aharon the son of the Holy Rav the Or Yisroel of Sadigura, at the age of 32 was appointed as a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and was its youngest member. Was appointed president of Keren HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel and was one of the leaders of the movement. Established a yeshiva for hundreds of boys in Pshemishl. Was a partner in many enterprises in the Land of Israel supporting the study of Torah, independent education, Beis Yaakov and a network of Torah lessons. In his days, the court of Sadigura expanded and developed in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bnei Berak and elsewhere
