Historical list! List of receivers of funds from Kollel Romania in Jerusalem, by the Tzaddikim of Bohush, 1928. A long list with more than a hundred and forty signatories.
‘We the undersigned, members of Kollel Romania of Jerusalem, confirm that each one of us received the money from the Admorim of Bohush Shalita… the sixth of Nissan 1928, Jerusalem’.
The signatories include the famed Gaon Rabbi Gershon Lapidos, Rabbi Yaakov Meir Shechter, one of the leaders of HaEida HaChareidis, Rabbi Zeidel the grandson of the Rav of Roman as well as immigrants from Romania, Galatz, Poshkan, Vesloi, Piatri, Batishan, Prashike, Harloi and many more towns and cities.
Written on the paper binding of the leaves ”רשימת חו"ק באהוש בניסן תרפ"ח’.
[8] leaves bound with string. 28X22 cm. Handwritten by one of the Gabaim of the Kollel, with the signatures of the members of the Kollel who received the funds. Very good condition.
