Two rare letters handwritten by the pious Rebbetzin Mrs. Chava Leah Friedman, the pure wife of the holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Mordechai of Chortkov and the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Sadigura.
* Letter that was sent to the famed Chassid Rabbi David Moshe, dealing with charity money that was sent for the welfare of the family. In it, she expresses her gratitude for the money of the Ma’amados that was sent for her son the Tzaddik Rav Shalita, the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Chortkov, the successor of her husband the holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Mordechai.
Later she notes that the Yoma DeHillula of her father the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Sadigura will be on the upcoming Sabbath.
* In the second letter, which is also in Yiddish and was also written to the Chassid Rabbi David Moshe, she asks that the money of the Ma’amados be transfered to her son-in-law the Rav Yaakov Heschil in Novominsk. She later refers to her son the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Chortkov.
The Rebbetzin Mrs. Chava Leah Friedman was born to her father the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Sadigura the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura [the first] who was to continue the royal dynasty yet passed away in his father’s lifetime. She married her husband the holy Rav Rabbi Nachum Mordechai of Chortkov, the son and successor of the holy Rav Rabi Yisroel of Chortkov. Immigrated with her husband to the holy Land.
