Letter about receiving a donation with blessings handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Elimelech of Karlin and with his signature.
Handwritten by the Gabai and with an addition of lines handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Elimelech of Karlin who expresses his gratitude and blessings to the famed Chassid Rabbi Meir Leving for his charity. With an addition of some words by the Admor ‘Who blesses him with all the best always’.
The holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Elimelech of Karlin [1891-1942] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel [The Yanuka] and his successor in Pinsk. The Tzaddikim of the generation appreciated and revered him. Headed important yeshivas. Visited the Holy Land four times and during his last visit, explicitly predicted an upcoming disaster for European Jewry. However, he refused to remain in Eretz Yisroel, returning to support his Chassidim. Was killed on Kiddush Hashem in Cheshvan 1942.
