Rare letter, handwritten by the senior Chassid Rabbi Yisroel Zalman Shelyovsky, by the holy order of Maran the Admor the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo David Yehoshua of Slonim, the son of Maran the Beis Avraham, with a request for help with immigration to the Holy Land, with important details and figures of the holy Slonim court. Baranovich, 1935.
The Admor Rabbi Shlomo David Yehoshua writes by his loyal Meshamesh that the air of Eretz Yisroel is very good for the Chassid Rabbi Zvi Petritzer and that it is essential to help him obtain an immigration certificate to the Holy Land.
Rabbi Yisroel Zalman Shelyovsky notes that last Sabbath he met the aforementioned Rabbi Zvi at the Hillula of Maran the Beis Avraham of Slonim.
The postcard refers to many important Slonim Chassidim of Eretz Yisroel, the Tzaddikim and Chassidim: Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Weinberg, Rabbi Yisroel Kopolovich, Rabbi Yisroel Shimon Kastelnitz, Rabbi Yitzchak David Weisberg, Rabbi Nachum Ze’ev Barazobsky, Rabbi Aharon David, Rabbi Moshe and more.
The letter, which was written as said by the holy order of the Admor Shalita, notes that the Admor wished to emphasize the importance and urgency of the matter.
The senior Chassid Rabbi Yisroel Zalman Shelyovsky [1869-1948] the Meshamesh and confidante of the Tzaddikim of Slonim for dozens of years, an important Slonim Chassid in the Holy Land in the years before the Holocaust.
