Sefer HaAggudah, Krakow 1571 edition, which had belonged to the holy Gaon author of Be’er Mayim Chaim and Sidduro shel Shabbas. 

Sefer HaAggudah, by Ravvi Alexander Zusslin Hacohen, one of the Rishonim in the time of Rabbi Yaakov Ba’al HaTurim, known as the Razach of Erport and Frankfurt. Published in Krakow in 1571 by the renowned Gaon Rabbi Yosef Katz author of She’eris Yosef and printed by the printer Reb Yitzchak Prostitz. 

This copy belonged to "the Rav the great Gaon … Rabbi Chaim Tirer Av Beis Din of Chernovich and … Av Beis Din of Botoshan, Molodova’. 

In addition, a notation of the flyleaf with the handwritten signature of the Be’er Mayim Chaim: Tirer, the Rav on behalf of the state in Chernovich and the district Rav of Moldova. 

There is also an ownership notation of the Be’er mayim Chaim’s son-in-law and successor as the Rav of Botoshan the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Isaac Halperin, who eventually immigrated to Safed where he was laid to rest. 

The Holy Rav Rabbi Chaim of Chernovich  (ca. 1740- 1818), one of the greatest Chassidic Rabbis, a leading disciple of the Holy Maggid of Zlotshov. Served as Rav in several important cities, Chernowitz first and foremost. Was renowned as a holy Divine man, with many miraculous stories attached to his name. Among the Chassidim it is known that after he immersed himself in the Mikveh on Sabbath eve, his form would transform and he became an inch taller. He immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Safed where he was laid to rest. His other basic Seforim "Be’er Mayim Chaim", "Sha’ar Hatefilah" and "Eretz HaChaim" had many editions and are cornerstones in Chassidus.

[4(6)] 250 leaves. The first thirty leaves and four last leaves of this copy were completed with leaves from the New York 1959 facsimile edition. The rest of the leaves are from the Krakow 1571 edition. 

Stains and wear. The spine of the binding is slightly detached. Non-active moth perforations. Restoration with paper. Late binding. Fair-good condition.
