Glosses and lengthy and short elucidations handwritten by the holy Gaon the Divine kabbalist the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Gershon of Kitov ‘Rabbi Gershon Kitover’, the Brother-in-Law and great disciple of Maran the Besht. Maran the Besht called him by esteemed titles such as ‘my brother-in-law the famed Gaon Rav Ish Elokim Nehirin Loh Shvilin Deraki’ah’.
The gloss is on an ancient and sacred manuscript from Sha’ar HaKavanos by Rabbi Chaim Vital, Drush on the secret of the Tefillin, Drush II. Rabbi Gershon Kitover introduces a secret of combining the two names אהי-ה והוי-ה, elucidating the secret of the Tefillin and their four Parashiyos.
[1] leaf written on both its sides. 18 lines handwritten by him, including 9 lengthy lines and 9 short ones. A lengthy, deep gloss and addiitonal short glosses. The last line is slightly worn, slightly affecting the text. 21X16 cm. Professionally restored. Aging stain on the margins, traces of dampness stains. Placed in an elegant leather cover. Very good condition.
