Halachic question on the Dinim of reading the Torah by the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald, one of the Rabbis of Luzern, to Av Beis Din of Basel Rabbi Asher Michael Hacohen. Luzern, 1913.
In the letter, the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald recalls that people in Luzern wanted to establish a custom of reading Parashas HaShavua to the children of the Talmud Torah on Sabbath afternoon. At first he thought to forbid it yet since he had heard that the Rav of Basel permits it, he wanted to ask him for his reasons. At the beginning of the letter, Rabbi Yehuda notes that it was sent on Chol HaMoed and therefore he is writing "Beshinuy due to the Moed".
