[8], 74, 77-87, [1] leaves. With an addition of a blue title-cover. On the title page, a stamp of Rabbi Yosef Zecharya ben Rabbi Nosson Stern. The Sefer contains a gloss handwritten by him. With approbations by the holy Rav Rabbi David Halberstam th eAdmor and Av Beis Din of Kshanov, [the first Admor of Bobov] the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam Av Beis Din of Vizhnitz; Rabbi Simcha Bonem Sofer the Sheves Sofer and Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkish Av Beis Din of Premishla and Lvov. 

Rabbi Nosson Note of Bardejov ben Rabbi Moshe David Segal Landau, ‘Reb Note’le Ushpitziner’ (1841-1906) a leading disciple of the author of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and one of the few who received a Heter Hora’ah by the Divrei Chaim. A Dayan in Bardejov and Rosh Av Beis Din of Ushpitzin. Author of Shut Knaf Rnunu, Shut Min Kanaf and additional Seforim on the Shas and Klalei HaShas. 

Rabbi Yosef Zecharya ben Rabbi Nosson Stern (1831-1903) one of the greatest Geonim of Lithuania, Rav of the Jassinovska and Shabli communities. The son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Yoffe. Was famed for his phenomenal memory and his vast knowledge of the Shas Bavli and Yerushalmi as well as Poskim Rishonim and Acharonim. In addition, he was knowledgeable of the Bible, grammar and history and wrote articles to refute the claims of the members of the Enlightenment Movement. The few that were printed include Shut Zecher Yehosef, Zecher Yehosef on the Shas and new commentaries on the Megilos.
