Invitation by the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Naftali Dober Rabinowitz, the son of the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Aryeh Mordechai Rabinoqitz the grandson of the Yid Hakudosh of Peshischa, to the wedding of his on Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabinowitz. Safed, ca. 1910.
The bride is Mrs. Rachel Chana Rivkah, the daughter of the Gaon Rav Rabbi Baruch Ashkenazi of Safed, the grandson of the holy Chacham Zvi.
Handwritten on the back of the invitation is a list of some of the expenses. fascinating.
The invitation was printed by the Elazar M. Goldberg Press of Jerusalem.
The Tzaddik Chassid Rabbi Aryeh Mordechai Rabinowitz was the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehoshua Asher of Porisov, the son of the holy Rav the Yid Hakudosh of Peshischa, who immigrated to Jerusalem and was revered by its residents. passed away in Tamuz 1885. This is an invitation sent by his son to the wedding of the son-grandson Rabbi Shmuel Aharon.
The bride, the daughter of the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Baruch Ashkenazi of Safed was the sister of the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Feibush Ashkenazi, the Meshamesh of the holy Rav of Satmar, whose father the important Rav Rabbi Yosef Ashkenazi was also a Meshamesh and confidante of the Rav of Satmar.
