Letter by the Kabbalists and Tzaddikim of Jerusalem, for the Sha’ar HaShamayim Yeshiva, sent to the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Heiperin and signed by Rabbi Menachem Menchin Heiperin, Rabbi Shimon Zvi Horowitz and Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach – 1920.
In their letter, the pious Kabbalists refer to the Sha’ar HaShamayim Yeshiva and its sages, who are starving, and request that he make efforts for the yeshiva and its rabbis especially during the giving of Zeicher LeMachatzis HaShekel and on the eve of Passover.

The Kabbalist Rabbi Menachem Menchin Heilperin [1844-1924] a Kabbalists of the Sages of Jerusalem. Was also a famed wonder-worker whose prayers saved many, often, miraculously. Was a close friend of the rabbis of Jerusalem the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld and the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook. Authored many Seforim.
The Kabbalist the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Shimon Zvi Horowitz [1870-1954] one of the pious Kabbalists of Jerusalem. Founded, with his friend the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach, the Sha’ar HaShamayim Yeshiva and headed it.
The Kabbalist the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach [1887-1954] one of the genius Kabbalists of Jerusalem. The grandson of the holy Rav the Todlos Yaakov Yosef, the father of the Auerbach family which was famed for its Geonim and rabbis headed by the pillar of Hora’ah Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.
