Letter handwritten by Maran the Rosh Yeshiva the great Gaon Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mann Shach with his warm and cordial blessing for a Good and Sweet Year.
‘I hereby send my hearty blessing that they will be immediately written and signed for a good and lengthy life and peace, by he who blesses Elazar Menachem Mann Shach’.
The postcard is a postcard of the Ponovezh yeshiva and on its back appears a photograph of the hill of the yeshiva taken from Vilkomirer St. apparently from the building of the yeshiva of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner.
Maran the great Gaon, Rosh Yeshiva and president of Mo’etzes Gedolei Hatorah Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mann Shach [1897-2002] one of the greatest Ma’atikei Hashmu’ah and leaders of the world of yeshivas. The founder of dozens of religious institutions. Established the Degel HaTorah party and was president of Mo’etzes Gedolei Hatorah.
