Letter by the great Gaon Rabbi Dov Berish Wiedenfeld of Tshebin to the great Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Klein Av Beis Din of Nuremberg in which he thanks him for his words of support and showers him with his blessings.
The letter was written on the official stationery of Maran the Gaon of Tshebin and in it, he expresses his deep gratitude for a gift sent by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Klein of Nuremberg and for his words of support and encoyragment.
The Rav of Tshebin writes that surely in the next volume of his Sefer he will publish the words of praise and support.
The Gaon of Tshebin added his handwritten signature.
The great Gaon Posek Hador Rabbi Dov Berish Wiedenfeld [1881-1966] the Rav of Tshebin and Its Rosh Yeshiva. One of the leading rabbis in Galicia and Eretz Yisroel after World War II. The son of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov the author of Kochav MiYaakov. One of the leaders of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel and one of its greatest guides. Immigrated to the Holy Land after years of wandering in Bukhara and Siberia and established in Jerusalem the Kochav MiYaakov Yeshiva. Was admired by all religious Jews wherever they be.
The great Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Klein Av Beis Din of Nuremberg and a member of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah [1875-1961] a disciple of Maran the Sheves Sofer of Pressburg. One of the greatest rabbis of Ashkenaz. Was supposed to be the Rav of Frankfurt yet the appointment never happened. One of the most active and original members of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah during the years of the Holocaust and the establishment of the State of Israel. His son-in-law was Rabbi Avraham Wolf the founder of the seminar for girls of Bnei Berak.
