Letter handwritten by Rabbi Shaul Yissachar Bick of Mezhibuzh, enclosed with a donation he gave during a time of economic distress. New York.
"With all my heart I wanted to send more yet G-d knows that due to the hard times this is impossible and you will receive my small gift" – a letter accompanying the modest donation of Rabbi Shaul Bick to the Union of Rabbis, handwritten and signed by him.

Rabbi Shaul Yissachar Bick (1883-1971) – Was Av Beis Din of Medzhybizh (Mezhibuzh), then Komaron, Minsk district, and succeeded his father in Mogilev until 1926. In 1927 immigrated to the USA and served as Rav in Brooklyn. Immigrated to Israel in 1949 and passed away in Bnei Berak. Authored Sefer yad Shaul (Bilgoray, 1913) and in 1930 published the Kuntres Dover Shalom, Tzava’as Harav.
Filing perforations, fold marks. wear to the edges of the leaf not affecting the text. Good condition.
