Request of the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Stollman to join the Union of Rabbis of the USA and Canada. Detroit, Michigan, [1929]. 

"Hopefully, they will find me as a serious member invited to participate and help in all matters pertaining to the sustenance of the Torah, Judaism and rabbinate in general" – letter signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Stollman, a disciple of the Chofetz Chaim and leading rabbis of Lithuania, with a request to join the Union of Rabbis of the USA and Canada. Detroit, Michigan, [1929]. 

The Rav notes that he studied with the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Chaim of Detroit ‘Stoliner Rav’ at the Slabodka Yeshiva and with additional rabbis.

The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak ben Rabbi Aryeh Leib Stollman (1894-1980) studied at the Chofetz Chaim Yeshiva in Radin and then, for six years, at the Knesses Yisroel yeshiva of Slabodka (Kovno) with the Rav of Stolin, Rabbi Yaakov Perlov, and with Rabbi Yaakov Krinsky. Received his Hora’ah Semicha from the leading rabbis of Europe and served as Ram at the Mozir and Yurevich yeshiva and as Av Beis Din of the Ozorich community. In 1924 immigrated to the USA and served as Rav of the Mishkan Yisroel, Beis Yisroel Nusach HaAri and Beis Aharon Stoliner communities of Detroit. Authored the Sefer of sermons and speeches Minchas Yitzchak (four sections, New York, 1934-1957). Immigrated to Israel in 1975 and passed away in Jerusalem. 

Fold marks, blemishes to the edges of the lead not affecting the text, fair-good condition.
