[1] leaf, typewritten and signed. 28 cm. This is an early proposal to commemorate Holocaust victims, submitted shortly after the end of World War II. A handwritten comment was added on the leaf, in pencil, "show Rav Rosenber[g]".
Content: A proposal to proclaim the 17th of Tamuz as a Memorial Day and Kaddish day for Holocaust victims whose exact date of death is unknown.
It should be noted that several years after this proposal, on the 27th of Kislev 1951, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel decided to proclaim the tenth of Teves as "Yom HaKaddish HaKelali" (Kaddish Day) to commemorate Holocaust victims whose exact date of death was unknown.
