Lengthy letter with many blessings to philanthropists, with lines handwritten by Rabbi Shimon Nosson Note [the first] of Lelov. ca. 1927.
Special letter with blessings by the holy Rav Rabbi Shimon Nosson Note [the first] of Lelov, some of it handwritten by him, to philanthropists who sent donations to people supported by the Tzaddik and the members of Kollel Warsaw.
The letter was sent in the mid-1920s, without a date, to the important rabbis Rabbi Nechemya Gershon Horowitz and the grandson of the holy Rav the Chozeh of Lublin and to philanthropists from the USA who sent donations through him, thanking them for their donations.
The Rabbi wrote, ‘יתברך בכל ברכאן דלעילא ומזה שער השמים המכון כנגד ירושלים יפקדו לטובה’ and additional blessings.
Later, the Rabbi’s confidante, presumably his brother-in-law the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Mordechai David Weinstock, writes lengthy lines, thanking them for the donations and praising the act of donating to pious men and especially to the holy Tzaddik of Lelov. He continues to plead with the philanthropists to make a special effort to revive the Tzaddik and his family, especially since the Rav of Lelov is modest and would never ask for anything for himself
