Sefer Patach Eliyahu – second section, on the Torah, Piyyut and Drushim. Authored by Rabbi Eliyahu Yaloz of Tiberius. Printed in Jerusalem in 1930.

Copy hand-signed by the Baba Sali.

On the back flyleaf, a handwritten notation, a kind of stamp, ‘Yisroel Abuhatzeira Erfoud Boudenib’, by Maran the Baba Sali. The notation combines Sephardic script and regular script with a notation in a foreign language in its center, a kind of stamp of the Baba Sali.

It should be noted that when this Sefer was printed by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Yaloz, the holy author’s son, the Baba Sali was living in the Holy Land.

On the copy, a signature of Rabbi Yichyeh Iluz ben Avraham, Ashdod, who was a family member of the holy author and a family member of the holy Baba Sali and was close to the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Meir Abuhatzeira.

The holy Admor the Baba Sali the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel Abuhatzeira [1890-1984] one of the greatest Tzaddikim. Immigrated to Israel several times, eventually remaining there since 1964. The Rav and leader of North African Jewry. A famed wonder-worker whose love of Yisroel was well-known.
