Important documents of the famed Ohel Rachel Beis Midrash of the holy Rav of Satmar in Jerusalem. During the years 1936-1958.  

The historical documents include a most important letter that was sent to the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Leib Pashkes, historical and fascinating, in which the Chassidim of Jerusalem describe their considerations for opening the Beis Midrash of the holy Rav of Satmar in Jerusalem, the first Beis Midrash of the Chassidim of the holy Rav Rabbi Yoel of Satmar in the Holy Land. 

In addiiton, documents to the authorities, to Rabbi Moshe Porush, the deputy mayor who was a member of Agudas Yisroel, recommendations of the Beis Din Tzeddek of the Sephardic Eida Chareidis, as follows:

* Lengthy letter on two pages sent to the famed senior Chassid Rabbi Leib Pashkes, Chavrusa of Maran the holy Rav of Satmar, sent from Eretz Yisroel, not signed. In it, the Chassidim describe in detail the benefit of opening a special Beis Midrash for the Satmar Chassidim and on the other hand, the immense costs of such a move. 

* Letter of recommendation with the stamps of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Mutzafi, Rosh Av Beis Din of the Sephardic Eida Chareidis and the stamp of the Beis Din Tzeddek and Rabbi Nagtali Chanun – for the holy Yitav Lev Yeshiva of Jerusalem. 

* Request of the Rashei Yeshiva of Yitav lev Satmar in Jerusalem ‘under the presidency of the holy Admor the Tzaddik Gaon of Satmar Shalita’ from the Jerusalem municipality, in two letters. 1. From the Mayor Shlomo Zalman Shragai. 2. The Deputy mayor Rabbi Moshe Porush. 

In the letters, their request for a building permit. 

The letters are signed by the Chassidic activists Rabbi Alexander Sender Ashkenazi and Rabbi Chaim Eliyahu Sternberg. 

* Letter for a fundraiser for the Winegarten Orphanage for girls – which took place at the Beis Midrash of the Satmar Chassidim on Sha’arei Pinah St. in 1952 and a letter by the donors, the worshippers of the synagogues, and the sums of their donations, a total of 20 dignitaries including the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Mendel Frankel, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Weiss, Rabbi Zvi Pinchas Moskovich – the confidante of the holy Rav of Satmar, Rabbi Sholom Isaakovich and more. 

[6] leaves, [7] handwritten or typewritten pages. Creases. Fold marks. Considerable wear to some of the leaves. Sizes vary. Good general condition.
