Unique! A document dealing with the leadership of an ancient, forgotten Jewish community, in Nancy, France, signed by the Gaon Rabbi Wolf Eiger, the Rav of the community and the cousin of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger. 1779.
The letter which is written in Yiddish-German and Hebrew describes a meeting of all the leaders and rabbis of the community dealing with dismissing the Shamash and appointing another.
The letter is signed by Rabbi Wolf Eiger and additional rabbis and leaders of the community.
