Maran the holy Gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer author of Michtav Sofer [1821-1883] the beloved son of Maran the Chasam Sofer. After his great father’s passing, he was appointed as the Rav of Carola, then for nearly twenty years as the Rav of Mattersdorf and finally, for more than twenty years as the Rav of Krakow. Founded, alongside Maran the holy Rav the Mahari of Belz, the Machazikei Hadas organization. Headed the Kollel Galicia and served as a member of the senate of Galicia. Was one of Gedolei Hador.
[2] pp. approx. [61] lines. 20X25 cm. This is a rare and valuable item which has never been printed. Some letters are blemished due to the acidity of the ink, making it difficult to understand the Sugya. One page is darker than the other. Fair condition.
