Published by the son-in-law of Chacham Zvi and with his enthusiastic approbation and the approbation of the holy Gaon the Semichas Chachamim, Rabbi Yaakov Hagiz and Rabbi Shlomo Ailion.

Bound with Sefer Shut Habach, Frankfurt am Main, 1697.


Handwritten signatures by the holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Sofer and two variants of his stamps. 

Two the two signatures he added ‘bought in 1872’. 

An addiitonal signature from the period of Moshe Yuda. 

The holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Sofer – the son of the Kesav Sofer. The Rav of Beregszász. Published the Seforim of his father the Kesav Sofer and authored several Seforim including the famed biographic Sefer about his forefathers, Chus HaMeshulash.

[6], 1-106, [2] leaves. Moth damage including lines of the text of Shut Habach. Aging and water stains. 

The title page of Shut Habach is restored as well as the first and last leaves. Damage to the top of the text of the last leaf of indices. Late spineless binding. Good general condition.
