Letter hand-signed by the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna and with his stamp, for the Yeshivas of Lithuania and Wholin. 1931.
The letter is typewritten on the official stationery of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer and was sent to the Rav Dr. Ehrenpreis in Stockholm with a request to assist the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Lipman Gurevich of Vilna who was travelling to raise funds for the yeshivas of Poland and Wholin after the JOINT stopped its support and the terrible financial crisis of 1931 – The Great Depression – which ended only during World War II.
