Lengthy and early letter handwritten and signed by the great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Kotler, eventually the Rosh Yeshiva of Lakewood and its founder, sent to the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shuv, the right-hand-man of the Gaon Rabbo Chaim Ozer of Vilna and one of the heads of Va’ad Hayeshivos. In the letter, he describes the terrible situation of the yeshiva, the fundraisers for it, the charity boxes and their distribution. He also takes interest in the plans the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna has for the yeshivas of Lithuania and Latvia.
