‘Slavuta Tehillim’! Sefer Tehillim printed by the Tzaddik Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Abba Shapiro, the son of the Rav of Slavuta. Slavuta, 1824. An incomplete copy whose missing leaves were professionally restored with photocopies. 

The importance and virtue of books printed by the famed Slavuta printery is well-known, all the more so the books of Tehillim printed by this pedigreed printery.

This is a Sefer Tehillim that was printed in 1824 by the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe’s son, the holy Rav Rabbi Shmuel Avraham, with the Meztudos commentary, Yehi Ratzon for Leil Hoshana Rabba and more.

Appearing in three places is an ownership signature from the period ‘Elazar Note Yonavich’.

The leaves that were missing were professionally completed by a photocopy on greenish-bluish leaves similar to the original leaves of the book: the first six leaves, 82-89, 92, 149, 158-159 and the last leaf.

Additional leaves were professionally restored, some with completions of the text.

Good general condition, some of the leaves are restored. New, elegant leather binding.
