Certificate handwritten by the great Gaon ‘Father of the Agunos’ Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Roller of Neamtz. Confirming a genealogy. Neamtz, 1935.
The great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Roller, was the father of the Agunos after World War I and II, making tremendous efforts to enable Agunos to remarry. Even on his deathbed, he called the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Herzog to find a Heiter for an Agunah.
In this letter, the Rav of Neamtz confirms that the woman immigrating the Eretz Yisroel is the virgin sister of Mr. Aryeh Abramovich of Tel Aviv, both of them having been born in Neamtz.
[1] lined paper, handwritten and signed by him and with his stamp. Fold marks. Small perforation holes. A stain. Very good condition.
