Important and lengthy letter, in response to a delivery of charity money, written by the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel of Charson Ades, the son of the holy Rav of Kontikoziva. Tel Aviv, Sivan 1940.
In the letter that was sent to the well-known organization Ezras Torah the Rabbi thanks his to pious friends who sent him money, the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshil of Kapotshnitz and the holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Twersky of Skvira, the future Admor of Skvira in Tel Aviv.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel of Charson [1880-1943] the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Kontikoziva , son after son of the holy Rav Rabbi Gedalya of Linitz and a descendant of the Tzaddikim of Tcherkos, Chernobyl, Koretz, Berditchev, Ba’al Hatanya and the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow. Since 1910 served as an important Admor in Charson and Odessa. Immigrated to the Holy Land in 1923. The first Admor in Tel Aviv and one of the first Admorim of the new Yishuv.
