Leaves of Torah innovations handwritten by the great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yisroel Wertheimer, the Rav of Altona and the vicinity, included in lesons he had delivered.
Large sheets laden with his Torah innovations handwritten by him ‘This is what I have copied from the Kuntres which I wrote during the study of the Sugya and I wrote it down to memorize and much later I wrote it down here and had no time to study it’. His Torah innovations on Sugyos Issur VeHeiter and Hilchos Shabbas.
The Gaon Rabbi Akiva Yisroel Wertheimer [1878-1938] was born in Breslau to his father rabbi Avigdor. Preciously the Rav of Maisling and Liebak and later the Rav of Altona.
[1] sheet, large card restored in its margins. Written on its four sides and pages. 7 additional pages. These pages are marked with an erasing line, apparently after being copied for a more orderly Kuntres.
Size and condition vary. Good general condition.
