[1] leaf, written on both its sides. At the beginning of the letter, a copying, on approx. half a page, by Rabbi Avraham Chaim Senigallia of a letter he had received from his friend Rabbi Chanael Chai Nepi, the Rav of Cento, who signs "לא ליודעי ח"ן". Later, Rabbi Avraham Chaim wrote his response. Handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Chaim Senigallia.
Rabbi Chanael Raphael Chai ben Shmuel Matisyahu Nepi (1760-1836) – was born in Ferrara, a disciple of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Aiash. A Talmid Chacham, Posek, Darshan and poet. Taught at the Beis Midrash of Rabbi Mordechai Sholom Pissarro. Since 1806, was one of the sages who participated in the gathering of the Sanhedrin of Paris. Due to his modesty, he used to sign his letters with the words לא ליודעי ח"ן". Author of Shut and Drushim and a book on the history of leading rabbis of Italy titled Zecher Tzaddikim Livracha.
Rabbi Avraham Chaim Senigallia, a disciple of Rabbi Yishma’el Hacohen Av Beis Din of Modena author of Zerah Emes. In his old age served as Moreh Tzeddek and rav of Modena. Wrote Psakim and innovations.
Minor stains. slight wear to edges, good condition.
