An extremely rare letter by one of the greatest Tzaddikim of Poland which was sent to the Rabbinic Chassid, the philanthropist David Yehuda Elstein for the rabbinic Chassid Yitzchak Schwartzberg of Piotrkow and his wife who is sick ‘and they do not have the money to pay for her medical needs and they should be pitied since up to now, they earned a good living and now they are in distress and need great salvation’.
At the end of the letter, he blesses those who assist ‘…anyone who pities them will be pitied and succeed in all matters’.
