"My wish is that you get a chance for a good livelihood without questions of Kashrus"; a letter of blessing and guidance handwritten by the holy Rav the Beis Yisroel of Ger to his close Chassid Rabbi Ephraim Sheraga Zilberberg. No date. ca. 1970. 

Seven lines handwritten and signed by the holy Rav the Beis Yisroel of Ger to his close Chassid Rabbi Ephraim Sheraha Zilberberg, the son of the Gaon Chassid Rabbi Avraham Binyomin of Pittsburgh. 

In his letter, the Rav blesses Rabbi Ephraim Sheraga, his widowed mother of Pittsburgh, his mother-in-law ands the entire family with good health and success. 

Later he guides then on how to find a job, writing "My wish is that you get a chance for a good livelihood without questions of Kashrus…"

The Rav ends his letter with regards to his rabbinic brother Rabbi Akiva Zilberberg. 

The holy Rav the Beis Yisroel of Ger [1895-1977] one of the geatest Tzaddikim of his generation. One of the founders of Chareidi Jewry after the destruction of Europe. The son of the holy Rav the Imrei Emes of Ger and his successor. Headed Mo’etzes Gedolei Hatorah, one of the founders of the independent education, who brought closer to Judaism Holocaust refugees and Sephardic, Ashkenazic, Lithuanian and Chassidic youth. Was famed for his regulations and customs in matters of sanctity, some of which are a cornerstone of the total Chareidi community to this day. 

[1] non-lined paper. 7 lengthy lines handwritten and signed by him. Fold mark in the center and wear to the edges of the letter. Very good condition.
