Lengthy letter for a good and sweet year handwritten by the holy brothers the holy Rav Rabbi David and his brother the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham David of Rachmastrivka and with their handwritten signatures. Jerusalem, 1939. 

The letter was sent to Safed to the Chassid Gaon Rabbi Avraham Leib Zilberman the Chief Rabbi and head of the Chassidic community of the town. 

The letter contains warm blessings for good health, Naches and a year of salvation and redemption. 

It should be noted that the letter was written with the outbreak of the World War II in Europe, when its magnitude and horrors were still unknown. 

The holy brothers signed the letter that was written by the holy Rav Rabbi David and added their joint stamp. The letter was written on the official stationery of the two Tzaddikim "Avraham Dov and David the sons of Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Rachmastrivka in Jerusalem". Their joint leadership lasted only 9 years. 

The holy brothers Rabbi Avraham Dov and Rabbi David, the sons of the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Rachmastrivka led the holy court in Jerusalem since their father’s passing in 1936. Rabbi Avraham Dov was born in 1865 and passed away in 1945 and his brother, Rabbi David, was born in 1872 and passed away in 1951. Rabbi David’s son, Rabbi Yochanan, succeeded him. 

[1] official stationery. Handwritten by Rabbi David and signed by him and by his brother Rabbi Avraham Dov. Minor fold marks. Minor stains. Filing perforations with holes affecting part of the letterhead. Very good condition.
