Sefer Hachaim by the Maharal’s brother, published by the holy Rav of the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow and with his enthusiastic approbation. Mezhibuzh, [1817]. Rare.
Sefer Hachaim, which is divided into five sections including Sefer Geulah VeYeshu’ah, Sefer Parnasah VeChalkala etc. authored by Rabbi Bezalel, the Maharal’s eldest brother. In addition to its great importance, holy Segulos were attributed to the Sefer, referred to in the approbation by the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow, who was one of the prominent initiators of the publishing of this edition, as written in the foreword.
The Ohev Yisroel wrote: "… they hurried to fulfill my wishes and merit the many … and anyone who desires life should choose this holy Sefer … and Hashem Yisborach will write and sign us in the Book of Life to redeem us and bring us to the holy city of Jerusalem … Avraham Yehoshua Heshil of Opatow".
