Copy of a Halachic responsum by the holy Gaon the Rav of Shamloy on Dinei Chalav and Me’ilah, with his handwritten glosses on the written responsum.
The sheet contains a letter with a halachic question by his disciple Rabbi Chaim Yehoshua Rezmizovesh [?] who writes that at the request of the Tzaddik Gaon of Shamloy, he is copying his response. On it, the holy Gaon of Shamloy indeed added four-five lines.
The disciple’s letter refers to the son of the holy Gaon of Shamloy, the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Moshe Yuda Av Beis Din of Sărmășag (his sons-in-law were the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Nosson Yosef Meisles and the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Mendel Shnebalg Av Beis Din of manchester).
Der Heiliger Tzaddik un Gaon Der Shamloyer Rov, the great Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich [1863-1944] Av Beis Din and Rav of Shamloy, where he established a yeshiva and Talmud Torah. One of the greatest Poskim of his generation. Author of the Lechem Shlomo, Beis Shlomo, Em LaBinah and many more. The grandson of the holy Gaon author of Kol Aryeh who raised him and taught him Torah.
