Lengthy letter about baking Matzah with water that were drawn from rivers and whether it is considered Mayim Shelanu, handwritten and signed by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi David Yehuda Zilberstein the son of the holy Gaon the Ma’asai LaMelech of Vietzen. 1932.


The holy Gaon Rabbi David Yehuda Zilberstein, the son of the Gaon of Vietzen Maran the Ma’asai LaMelech, a disciple of the Geonim Rabbi Shaul Brach and Rabbi Mordechai Leib Winkler the Levushei Mordechai. In 1905, he published the Sefer Yad David, which received enthusiastic approbations by Gedolei Hador – see enclosed material. In 1915, he became a Rav in Helishtova. In 1928, he became a Domatz in Vietzen, alongside his father who passed away in 1930. He them succeeded him as the Rav of Vietzen.
