Sefer Chasam Sofer on the Shas, first edition, Jerusalem, 1883. The personal copy of his grandson and successor the Great Gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin Sofer the son of the Da’as Sofer of Pressburg.
The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyomin Sofer author of the Chashav Sofer [1902-1962] the son and successor of Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Akiva Sofer the son of the famed holy Gaon the Sheves Sofer the son of the holy Gaon the Ksav Sofer the son and successor of Maran the Chasam Sofer. The Chashav Sofer established the Pressburg Yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel. He succeeded his father as Rosh Yeshiva, as Rav of Pressburg and was also a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and the president of Kollel Shomrei HaChomos. Passed away several years after his father’s passing.
74 leaves. Brittle leaves. The title page and last leaf are blemished and partly restored with old tape, apparently by the Tzaddik Gaon the Chashav Sofer/ On the flyleaf, handwritten Sugyos notations.
