Sefer HaChinuch. Printed in Vienna in 1827. Copy of the Geonim and Tzaddikim of the Lichtenstein Family of Bethalen Rabbi Yaakov Kopel and Rabbi Yudah, with their handwritten signature and stamp. 

On the title page, the signature of Rabbi Yaakov Kopel Lichtenstein and his stamp and the stamp of his son: ‘Yudah Lichtenstein Rosh Av Beis Din of Bethalen and the vicinity’. 

Hagahos Rabbi Yeshaya Pik were printed for the first time in this edition. On one of the leaves, a gloss and minor correction in pencil. 

Rabbi Yaakov Kopel Lichtenstein of Radovich – Bethalen and the Rav of Vosherheli, the son of the holy Gaon Rabbi Baruch Bendit and the brother of Rabbi Hillel of Kolomyia.  

His eldest son Rabbi Yudah Lichtenstein [born in 1855] succeeded his father as the Rav of Bethalen. 

[6], 1-143 leaves. Leaf 5 was bound by mistake before leaf 4. Moth perforations affecting the text, mainly of the last section. No binding. Stains and wear. Fair condition.
