Tur Barekes by Rabbi Chaim Hacohen of Aleppo, a disciple of Rabbi Chaim Vital, Orach Chaim Section. Two sections. Piotrkow, 1878 edition. The copy of Maran the Maharam Shapiro of Lublin with his stamp and the stamp of his yeshiva, Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin.  

On the flyleaf, many ownership stamps including two of "Mair Shapiro Av Beis Din and Ram of Piotrkow". The stamp of the yeshiva appears several times on the leaves of the book. In addition, a dedication by Rabbi Henich Eliezer Frankel to the Maharam Shapiro from his Piotrkow days. 

The holy Gaon Rabbi Meir Shapiro [1887-1934] one of the most famed Gedolei Hador between the two world wars. The grandson of the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz, the founder of the Daf Yomi and the founder of the Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin, presdient of Agudas Yisroel of Poland and one of its founders, a member of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah and a member of the Polish Sejm as a representative of Chareidi Jewry.

70, 115 leaves. Two title pages, one for each section. Slightly old leaves. The spine and binding are slightly blemished and taped. Good-very good condition.
