Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Abba of Slavuta (1784-1864) a disciple of Rabbi Zusha of Anipoli and Rabbi Baruch of Mezhibuzh. Rabbi Moshe Shapiro, Rabbi Shmuel Avraham’s father, was the Rav of Slavuta and the founder of its printery and the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz – one of the greatest disciples of the Besht. Rabbi Shmuel Avraham managed the famed printery of Slavuta alongside his brother Pinchas. In 1836, due to false accusations, the brothers were arrested and sentenced to a beating and expulsion to Siberia. After 17 years, in 1856, they were released and Rabbi Shmuel Avraham became an Admor.
Worn, semi-leather binding. Blemishes and taping to the title page and the edges of some leaves mainly at the beginning and end of the book. Some moth damage. Good condition.
