Letter of blessings and Mazel Tov handwritten by the Gaon of Galicia, Posek hador, the holy Gaon Rabbi David Menachem Manisch Babad of Tornopol author of Shut Chavatzeles HaSharon to the Chassidic philanthropists Rabbi Lipa Tirkel and his brother-in-law Rabbi Shmuel Nusbaum, for their children’s marriage. Tornopol, 1919.
The letter contains the Rav’s warm blessings for the upcoming wedding, expressing his positive attitude towards the marriage of relatives: ‘שמחתי מאוד על הקשר הה אשר מאוד הוטב בעיניי התקשרות קרובים ומיודעים מבטן עמוסים כי יתלכדו ולא יתפרדו להיות אגודים אחודים נוסף על שאריתם הטבעית’.
