Sefer Zichron Aharon, which is Kuntres HaChazakos on the Chazakos of the Shas by Rabbi Elazar Lew author of Shemen Roke’ach. Aharon Segal Press, Lvov, (1834). First, uncommon edition. The copy of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Heller, the Rav of Safed.

On the title page, an ownership signature of the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Heller, the famed Rav of Safed.

Additional ownership signatures on the flyleaf, including a handwritten dedication ‘The great Rav the Maggid Meisharim Av Beis Din of Kerestir…’ and his signature in faded ink. Av Beis Din of Kerestir in those years was the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Eliyahu who served there during the years 1833-1846 at least. Appearing after it is a signature of the person who received the book ‘Mordechai Isaac Halevi Segal’.

In the introduction of the book, the author of the Shemen Roke’ach dedicated the book to the ascent of the soul of his son, Rabbi Aharon, who passed away young and the book was printed in his memory and contains his innovations.
