Kabbalistic manuscript on Sefer Daniel, handwritten by the Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Chiya Rofeh, a leading disciple of Rabbi Chaim Vital.
Two pages handwritten by the Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Chiya Rofeh and an additional gloss on the manuscript. 27 lines per page and a gloss of approx. five lines. A total of approx. 60 lines handwritten by him.
The manuscript deals with a Kabbalistic Drush on Sefer Daniel.
The Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Chiya Rofeh of Safed-Jerusalem [1550-1617] one of the leading disciples of Rabbi Chaim Vital and the Ari. Author of Sefer Ma’assei Chiya. Was one of the six rabbis who received their Semicha from the Mahari Birav, the renewer of the Semicha.
[2] pp. approx. 60 lengthy lines. Fine, eloquent Solitreo (Chatzi Kulmus) script. A single correction of an error. A blemish to the edges, affecting some words on both sides of the text. Wear and water stains, all professionally restored. Placed in a fine semi-leather case. Good condition.
