Some Parshiyos Tefillin shel Yad and shel Rosh, written in ancient scribal script similar to that of the famed Tzaddik scribe Rabbi David of Hanipol, the scribe of the Maggid of Mezeritch and of his great disciples.
Parshiyos ‘Shemah, Vehaya Im Shamo’ah Vehaya ki Yaviecha’, in fine, elegant script, most similar to the script of the holy Rav Rabbi David of Hanipol, the scribe of Chassidic kings. Sold as non-kosher and without confirmation that they were indeed written by him.
The holy Rav Rabbi David of Hanipol, a leading disciple of the holy Maggid of Mezeritch. His holy Rav of Mezeritch pleaded with him to become a scribe and gave him, via his disciple the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo of Lutzk, the Kavanas Hashemos.
It is known that he wrote Tefillin and Mezuzos for the maggid of Mezeritch, Rabbi Pinchas Koretz and his sons, Rabbi Moshe of Savorn and the holy brothers Rabbi Elimelech and Rabbi Zusha. Rabbi David of Hanipol was buried there alongside the gravesite of his holy Rav of Mezeritch, the holy Rav Rabbi Zusha and the holy Rav the Or Haganuz, the Rav of the town.
3 Parshiyos, large script typical of Rabbi David of Hanipol’s script. Blemishes to the vellum and letters. Are not sold as kosher. Fair condition.
